Vaccine Information
Gvozden Pediatrics firmly believes in vaccinations and we believe that vaccines are one of the most important aspects of keeping infants and children healthy. We follow the vaccine schedule recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) and the Advisory Committee on Immunization Practices (ACIP) for all of our patients.
Vaccines to expect at each well visit:
1 Month: Hepatitis B
2, 4 & 6 Months: Pentacel, Prevnar, Rotateq
9 Months: Hepatitis B
1 Year: MMR, Varivax
15 Months: Pentacel, Prevnar, Hepatitis A
2 Years: Hepatitis A
4 Years: ProQuad (MMR/Varivax) & Quadracel (IPV/DTaP)
11 Years: Adacel, Menactra, Gardasil
(Gardasil booster required 6 months after first dose)16 Years: Menactra
17-18 Years: Meningitis B vaccine
